Format: 

1. Split Session Format. ● All 11 and older men and women will swim in the morning session. ● All 10 and younger men and women will swim in the afternoon session. ● Relays will be swum at the beginning of the afternoon session. 

2. A.M. Session: Warm-Ups 7:00 – 8:20 AM, Meet starts 8:30 AM 

3. P.M. Session: Warm-Ups –The 2nd half warm-ups are planned to start by 11:00 AM. The Meet will start at 12:30 P.M. Please note, warm up sessions will occur during the morning session awards and prior to the start of relays. The warm-up start schedule is subject to change based on how long the A.M. Session runs. 

4. There will be four 20-minute warm-up periods in each session. Lane assignments will be based on the number of swimmers from each team in each session and will be determined after entries are processed. The Final Warm-up schedule will be set up once all the entries are in and seeded. The Meet Director reserves the right to move. Warm-ups to the appropriate time slots once all the entries are in.

The Summer Awards Meet is formatted to maximize individual and relay event participation as it will serve as the championship meet for many swimmers. Please note that the event numbers for this meet are different from normal summer league meets. 

Location: 100 Red Maple Place, Williamsburg, VA 23185 

Facility: Outdoor 25 Meter Pool, Five Lanes, non-turbulent lane lines 

Eligibility: Open to all swimmers from teams within the VPSU Membership who have yet to achieve a Championship Meet time in the event entered. Swimmers competing in the Summer Awards meet are allowed to swim in relay legs that they have Championship Meet times. All swimmers may enter up to three (3) events and two (2) relays. Each team can enter up to three (3) relays per event. Any swimmer entered in an individual event may enter the Relays. A swimmer who has a qualifying time is still able to compete in a relay. 

Meet Format: Events will be swum in the order listed on the attached schedule of events. All events are timed finals. All swimmers will go directly to the Clerk of Course when their event is called. 

• All 10 & under will swim in the Morning Session. 
• All 11 & over will swim in the Afternoon Session. 
• Warm Ups: 10 & Under Session – 7:00 am; meet starts at 8:15 am; 
• 11 & Over Session – 12:00 pm; meet starts at 1:15 pm. 

The Meet Director will schedule warm-ups depending on the number of entries. Your warm-up times will be sent to you once entries are submitted and the meet is merged. The start of the afternoon session may also be changed by the Meet Director based on entries. Team Representatives will receive the Warm Up Schedule no later than Wednesday, 22 July 2026.

Fees: The fees are as follows: $4.00 / Event Entered; $ 12.00 / Relay Entered. The team will pay for relay entries, but individual events will be paid by the swimmer via the "Team Store" tab on the website.
